At her first exhibition in 2011, Laura reveals her artistic approach with a positive message & emotion. Her success was immediate and growing; her artworks, now listed and rated, are sold internationally all over the world. Laura Chaplin has an Art rating since April 2013, which is visible on professional art estimating websites.
While painting is her main activity, Laura’s creativity does not stop on a canvas. Creating on a collection of handbags, Designing, watches, clothing, etc. Laura loves to create! Well aware of the importance of laughter in life, she has also written a book “Laughter is the First Step to Happiness”. Innovatively her work can be seen in many aspects!
Very active in the charitable sector, Laura is patron of the “Charlie’s smile” & “Moi pour toit” foundation. Laura Chaplin’s mission is to make the world smile!
About Me
Born in Vevey, Switzerland on the 1st February 1987. Laura Chaplin, granddaughter of the filmmaker Charlie Chaplin, does not deny her origins and forged her own artistic path. She grew up in the Manoir de Ban, her grandfather’s last home, now a museum known as Chaplin’s world. Thanks to this dream house, her passion for horses starting very early. Conscious of this dreamed up youth, she wants to extend the work of Chaplin in her own way and share her love and joy for life.
Having traveled extensively, Laura studied fashion and graduated in June 2009 from the European federation in Fashion Design. She worked as a model and posed for numerous magazines and labels. In 2006, Laura presents “Miss Fashion TV”, broadcasted live in more than 170 countries worldwide.
